As 2019 came to an end Christian Heights participated in many activities. The residents engaged in holiday parties, decorations and paintings, games, and volunteers came to the facility to show their support for the residents and the staff. Engaging in activities when in nursing care is about more than the immediate pleasure gained, although of course, this is important. Research shows that by enjoying activities in a nursing home the elderly benefit both mentally and physically. By providing a consistent and inclusive activity program, Christian Heights is actively keeping their residents involved and entertained with games, singing, programs, and special events.
