Featured Resident

We chose Martha C. as our featured resident for this month. She is a long term resident at CH, and a beacon of light to our facility. She came to us from Pennyrile Personal Care home in 2018, and has been a joy to us ever since. Martha has a wonderful attitude and is always positive. She really enjoys playing bingo and doing crossword puzzles, but those activities are becoming a little more challenging because of her eyesight. Martha also loves listening to Gospel music. Whenever there is a singing group entertaining the residents she is there. Not only does she enjoy listening to music she also likes singing. As a matter of fact Martha used to sing in a Gospel quartet group when she was younger. We may have to get her to cut a few notes for us. We appreciate Martha and her kindred spirit. She said that she’s always been a religious person and prayer has always been a part of her regimen. We appreciate your positive outlook on life and all of your prayers.
