Letter from the Administrator

I would like to wish all of our residents, staff, and families a Happy 4th of July! I would also like to say a big thank you to all of our Veterans and their families for their sacrifice. We appreciate your service and appreciate how you keep our great nation safe! July is also the beginning of summer, more hot weather, picnics, and cook-outs. Please be sure to stay hydrated and drink plenty of water. July is the month we celebrate our country’s independence. It is a time for family, fireworks and festivals! Many times we take our freedom and independence for granted. We live in a great country! Imagine not being able to vote, voice your opinion, or exercise your human rights, it would be very unpleasant. Unfortunately, many of us have loved ones that for whatever reason have lost much of their independence. This is very difficult for families to accept and even more trying for the person experiencing the loss.

The Christian Heights staff works very diligently to ensure our residents regain and maintain as much independence as possible. We have a wonderful and talented therapy team who pride themselves on helping a resident get back to the point of prior functioning after illness or surgery. Here at Christian Heights we want to see a resident become fully dependent and feel comfortable returning home. I am proud of my staff and the way they care about our residents. Thank you for choosing and trusting Christian Heights to take care of you and your loved ones.

Sincerely,

Tammy Workman
