Hello, and welcome to September!

The first part of August was not an indication that September was approaching. Who thought that we would have weather in the high 90’s with a heat index over a 100. That’s humid! We still made it through and took great care of our residents, after all our residents are top priority. Our phenomenal staff did not skip a beat, and neither did family members of our residents. I wanted to take time out to thank all the wonderful supportive family members who come out to encourage their loved ones. You might not always realize how your visits and support affects your loved one, but those residents who do not get visitors as frequently are not engaged as much and feel true loss of belonging. I also would like to thank our volunteers who sacrifice their time and talent to bring joy and happiness to our residents. Your work is not in vain and we look forward to continuing a great partnership.

If you do not take anything else from this newsletter, it’s very important to me that you understand that I appreciate you allowing Christian Heights to care for you or your loved ones. I also want you to know that I have an open door policy. Anytime you have a praise, concern or problem, please feel free to come and see me. Whether you are a resident, employee or family member, I want your experience at Christian Heights Nursing and Rehab Center to exceed your expectations. If there is anything you need from me, please let me know. I will be glad to help in any way I can.

Sincerely,

Tammy Workman
