Letter from the Administrator

Hello everyone, can you believe it’s almost Spring? Winter is about to end and we can finally start to enjoy some beautiful weather, and outdoor activities. Hopefully we can put this flu season behind us and look for all the fun events that March will bring us including St. Patricks Day! For all of you sports fans March Madness is right around the corner. We have so much to look forward to!

As we close another Winter we look forward to life in the Spring. As the residents pause to catch their breath from all the family visits, nasty flu, and cold weather, they look forward to see what’s upcoming. Christian Heights is doing the same. We continue to improve and look for ways to improve the lives of your loved ones. As we strive to be more than just a nursing home, we are continuously looking for more ideas on what your loved ones would like to do. For example, some residents love to sing, play bingo, work on puzzles, and even have devotion. So some of the creative things I would like to implement would be karaoake day, dancing with the seniors, game night, and more community involvement regarding devotion. These types of activities help your loved ones stay active and alert, connect with the outside world and remind them that they are still alive. If you have any wonderful ideas we would love to hear about them. Please let the Christians Heights activities department hear your suggestion.

Thank you for all the love and support!

Sincerely, Tammy Workman
