Rehabilitation Therapy Program

Christian Heights Nursing & Rehabilitation, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy are available in an inpatient setting. The Director leads the team in developing an individualized treatment program designed to help achieve optimal independence and to prevent further decline in function.

Physical therapy services enable individuals to restore and/or achieve optimal movement and function and to relieve pain. Through evaluation and treatment programs, the physical therapist can treat persons with a variety of ailments including:

• Amputations
• Arthritis
• Balance/gait disorders
• Low back and neck pain
• Other orthopedic/athletic injuries
• Treatment following joint replacement surgery
