Residents Enjoy Mothers Day

Some mothers would enjoy a nice dinner with family or a day out on the town. Others would like a stroll in the park and a nice picnic. For mothers in the nursing home she may want to see a familiar face or see a familiar setting of a family members home.

With social distancing and isolation being implemented in nursing facilities the Activities Department at Christian Heights came up with a variety of ways to make Mother’s Day special for a mother who must remain in the nursing home. They made calls to their family, enjoyed good food, and participated in activities. The greatest gift a mother can give is her love, and it’s only fitting that the Christian Heights family help celebrate this day with them.
