The Magic of Music

The power of music and what it does to bring people together, jog memories, and provoke emotions is undeniable. Christian Heights recently enjoyed a get together of good ole fashion music, food, and fun for the Christian Heights Fall Festival. The residents congregated to the dining area to enjoy songs accompanied by acoustic guitar, pizza, cup cakes, and popcorn. The music which was very diverse included country, soul, and mainly Gospel. It was calming, comforting, and something that all the residents could participate in. The body language, laughter, and smiles of the residents made it obvious that they enjoyed the gathering. Activities Director Brittney Fraiser said that she wanted to get all the residents out of their rooms to participate and have a good time. From the looks of things they thoroughly enjoyed the get together.
