Employee Spotlight

This month Christian Heights Nursing & Rehab would like to thank and show their appreciation for Crystal Holland (right) and Jessica Zigelhofer (left). These two ladies work really hard, show awesome teamwork, and exhibit great attitudes. They both deserve to be recognized this month not only for the aforementioned qualities, but for customer service as well.

Crystal has worked at Christian Heights since the nineteen nineties. She currently serves as the Assistant Director of Nursing, and does a great job. Crystal said that she always knew that nursing was her thing. “Helping and caring for people was something that came easy to me even as a child. It was my calling” When asked what she enjoyed most about her job she said “Caring for the residents. I feel like I’m doing what God wants me to do” Crystals motto is “This is a day that the Lord has made and I will rejoice, and be glad in it”, she said at times you just have to encourage yourself, be thankful and don’t complain. You can have what you want. You just have to claim it.

Jessica Zigelhofer is the second employee to be recognized for her great service. She has a wonderful attitude and a great disposition. You can always find her with a smile on her face. Jessica has been a CNA for two years, but she has worked at Christian Heights for a few months. During her short time at CH she has made a big impact on many of the residents. When asked what she liked most about her job she said getting to know the residents better. It’s like home away from home. The one thing that she disliked was “no matter what qualifications and skills I have, and no matter what I can do some of the residents can’t be helped, and I really wish I could”. That shows the kind of heart that Jessica has. I asked her what contributed to her great work ethic and good attitude. She said “live your best day every day, because you can’t go back in the past. Every day presents a new opportunity.”

The Christian Height’s staff and residents would like to thank both Crystal and Jessica for a job well done. We appreciate you. Keep up the great work!
