Employee Spotlight – Venilia

We would like to recognize Venilia Smith on 30 years of employment here at Christian Heights. Venilia is invaluable as an employee. She started her career out as a nursing assistant on August 30,1995 and then went on to become a certified Nursing Assistant. She held various roles in nursing such as working in restorative, shower aide and scheduling. She has also served in other departments as well. She was the Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor; she has worked in the Dietary Department and also the Business office. In 2004 she started in Medical Records and that is where she still is today. When not working she enjoys being with her family and going on vacations. We are lucky to have such a multitalented employee such as Venilia. When asked what kept her here for this many years she said most definitely the residents. She said the residents become like family and you can learn so much from them when talking with them. Thanks again Venilia for your hard work and dedication to our residents and co-workers.
