Featured Resident: Paula M.

Our featured resident this month is Paula M. Paula arrived at Christian Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation from JSMC after a decline in her medical status. When she arrived at CH Paula was dependent on care, struggled to walk and required assistance to mentally put the pieces together. After extensive nursing care and therapy, Paula is finally gaining her life back. Director of Physical Therapy Jennifer Davenport said “upon admission Paula was apprehensive about participating in therapy, but overtime she became cooperative”. Paula has worked hard to gain the strength, cognition, and her overall health back. She participated in PT, OT, and ST, and now “she’s pretty much at her prior level of function” said Jennifer Davenport. She’s doing a lot of other tasks that she was unable to do upon arrival. We are so proud of her and cannot wait for her to get back to everything that is important to her. Thank you for allowing Christian Heights to care for you!
