Keeping Your Mind Healthy

Mental activity can keep your mind sharp. Try some of the following tips to help challenge your brain for continual growth:

  • Learn to play a musical instrument or get out and tune a long forgotten one
  • Play scrabble, word puzzles, sudoku, or other trivia games
  • Read a book every month
  • Learn a foreign language
  • Interact with others daily
  • Volunteer at a local school, shelter, or senior community
  • Visit museums, aquariums, and zoos to learn about artifacts, animals and sea life
  • Try a new experience
  • Start a new hobby with crafts, painting, or woodworking – March is Arts & Crafts Month!
