staff and residents out front of the facility watching parade of cars

The Mayor of Pembroke, Healthcare partners and more than 20 other cars led by the Fire Department and an ambulance paraded past the front entrance of Christian Heights while residents practiced social distancing and waved as they drove by.

Some vehicles displayed balloons and messages of love and encouragement for the residents. It was a great show of support for the residents as the community tried to bring some sense of normalcy during the coronavirus pandemic. The parade was organized by Jennifer Davenport, who is the Director of Physical Therapy at Christian Heights. she wanted to do something to bring a smile to the face of the residents during this crisis. It was a wonderful experience.
